Purchasing Agent

Purchasing Agent Meade is looking for a Purchasing Agent to assist with inventory control and purchasing raw materials and other electrical supplies used in our company. This position would be to make sure our field staff always has adequate flow of materials and the equipment they need. This requires excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving qualities are ideal. This position would be responsible for the following: Collaborating with project managers and foreman to determine supply needs Purchasing materials and supplies according to specifications Entering in purchasing orders Negotiate buy-outs Coordinating delivery and receiving procedures at jobsites Safety standards are always met Copying, scanning, emailing vendors for supply Following up with our field leaders to make sure they get the materials on time Experience with Made in America/ARRA/Diversity Requirements preferred. Experience with electrical contractor or electrical supply house. Preferably 3 to 5 years. Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 3:30

Actual Compensation will depend on several factors, such as location, professional experience, education, relevant training, transferable skills, organizational needs, and current market trends.
