Job Description

Our client, a global automotive manufacturing supplier , is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator/Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. As a Purchasing Coordinator/Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the Purchasing/Supply Chain Department supporting internal operations teams and external supplier partners . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail , which will align successfully in the organization.

  • $60,000 What's the Job?
Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing production, quality, and commercial concerns Issue RFQs and ECNs, review supplier pricing, and validate costs against internal cost models Manage supplier relationships, drive cost reduction initiatives (Kaizen, VA/VE), and support continuous improvement Coordinate with internal teams on new model launches, tooling schedules, and production requirements Monitor supplier performance, track pricing changes, and lead meetings to resolve supply chain issues What's Needed? 1+ year of experience in purchasing, supply chain, sales, or account management Strong analytical and math skills to evaluate cost structures and supplier pricing Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools (Teams, etc.) Ability to travel up to 25% and effectively manage supplier relationships What's in it for me?
