Project Buyer

Position Summary Your main responsibility will be to purchase fasteners and C-parts within the automotive industry. You will become part of an international team. In order to offer our customers the best solution, you will constantly search for and negotiate the best deals with our suppliers. You evaluate the customer's needs, look for new opportunities in the market and you always make sure to find the best suitable customer focused solution. A close follow-up on their price requests and projects is needed to ensure a good internal and external coordination. You keep our price and order database up to date and hold close contacts with our other departments. We focus on building effective and sustainable long term relationships with our suppliers and trust on you to help us with this objective. You will report directly to our Project Sourcing Manager in the headquarters in Genk. Our international Purchasing team is looking forward to welcoming you! Qualifications Bachelor/Master degree or equal by experience 3-5 years working experience, preferably in the automotive sector An analytical mindset and profound negotiation and coordination skills Technical knowledge is a plus whereas technical interest is a must International orientation Flexibility, persistency and entrepreneurship are key Very good knowledge of English is required Flexible to travel regularly within Europe and North America Facil Europe is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
