Responsibilities:

Identify and maintain lists of eligible vendors and select vendors to procure requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, and delivery date. Process invoices and requests for payments against requisitions. Resolve and answer questions regarding purchasing issues with departments and vendors. Responsible for the shipping and receiving parcels and freight, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery. Unload incoming freight delivered to the warehouse. Responsible for picking up and delivering mail to and from the Post Office. Oversee the filling and delivering of orders to campus departments by student employees. Manage the operations of the warehouse when the Purchasing Warehouse Manager is out. Help process outgoing mail and sort incoming mail. Maintain organization within the warehouse including all inventory. Perform yearly warehouse inventory. Responsible for hiring and supervising student employees.

Start date to be determined after acceptance of an offer and completion of criminal background check.
