Position Summary:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of goods and services needed for the organization's operations. This role supports the full procurement cycle. From vendor selection to order placement and contract management, to ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities. Issue requests for quotations (RFQs), analyze bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts. Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and budgets. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any delivery or quality issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify purchasing requirements and support project or production needs. Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor data. Analyze market trends and pricing conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings. Support compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and industry regulations. Assist in developing procurement strategies and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement software is preferred. Renewable energy projects or construction industry experience is a huge plus.

This job operates in a professional office setting. The role may require occasional travel.
Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
