Gift Purchaser

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Gift Purchaser to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing a wide variety of gifts that delight our customers and elevate our brand. Your expertise will ensure that our gift inventory is diverse, high-quality, and aligned with current trends and customer preferences. You will play a key role in managing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support our sales and merchandising goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product offerings and contribute to memorable customer experiences through thoughtfully curated gifts. Duties Source and purchase a broad range of gift items by collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers. Coordinate with merchandising teams to select products that align with seasonal trends, customer preferences, and company branding strategies. Oversee inventory management processes to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory through effective inventory control techniques. Utilize materials management tools such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules efficiently. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier performance metrics. Display gifts and keep shelves looking fresh and clean. We will also need you to run the POS when the cashier is busy. Skills Strong understanding of materials management, supply chain management, and logistics principles. Expertise in sourcing strategies and vendor relationship management. Knowledge of inventory management techniques including inventory control and production planning.
