Temp-to-Hire Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing plant in Boxborough, MA. We are looking for a Buyer/Planner! This is a Temp-hire position. About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a career in supply chain, purchasing, or production planning. The Buyer/Planner will help ensure materials are available to support production schedules while maintaining accurate inventory levels and working closely with suppliers and internal teams. Responsibilities Assist with purchasing raw materials, components, and supplies needed for production. Monitor inventory levels and help maintain adequate stock. Support production planning by reviewing schedules and material requirements. Create and process purchase orders. Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any shortages. Track open orders and follow up on late deliveries. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in the ERP/MRP system. Work with production, warehouse, and quality teams to resolve material-related issues. Analyze inventory data and identify opportunities to improve material flow and reduce shortages. Perform other supply chain and purchasing duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, customer service, or administrative support is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus but not required. Pay Details:
