You will play a critical role in bringing next-generation Humanoid robot to life by managing the sourcing lifecycle for complex Electronics, semiconductor components and mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Supplier Identification:
Partner with Engineering during the early phase in the development to identify and vet suppliers capable of meeting cutting-edge technical requirements for semiconductors (ICs, SoCs), sensors, and PCBA components. Cost Management (Should-Cost Modeling): Drive early stage cost-out initiatives. You won't just look at a quote; you'll analyze silicon wafers, packaging costs, and assembly labor to negotiate the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). NPI Material Availability
  • In collaboration with OPM (Operations Program Manager) Monitor and manage R D daily material inventory levels to ensure stock availability aligns with production and demand needs. Purchase Requisitions
  • Place and track purchase requisitions/and POs once issued, based on NPI phase build planning, program schedules, and inventory requirements. Proactively follow up with suppliers on open orders, past due items to ensure timely deliveries. Material Fulfilment Metrics
  • Maintain visibility and report out relevant metrics into open purchase orders, update internal systems, and ensure accurate delivery timelines are communicated. Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze procurement and inventory metrics (turnover, accuracy, supplier performance) and prepare daily reports to inform procurement strategies and improve supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, or supplier management experience (R D environment preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems and Microsoft/Google Suite tools, Dashboard and data visualization development is a plus Relevant industrial experience is preferred, Consumer Electronics, semiconductor, or Automotive industry (with Autonomous driving system) PMP or other project management certification is a plus
APICS, ISM

The base pay range for this position is between $116,479.18 to 145,598.98 USD annually . Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and an annual bonus structure.
