Buyer - Purchasing Operations

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Buyer to support daily purchasing and materials coordination for our Dearborn location. This role focuses on maintaining accurate pricing, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring materials and documentation flow smoothly between suppliers, logistics, and internal teams. Responsibilities Create, update, and manage purchase orders to support ongoing operational needs Review pricing, part information, and supplier data to ensure accuracy before release Work directly with suppliers to confirm lead times, resolve discrepancies, and maintain steady material flow Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams on delivery timing, tracking, and order status Maintain accurate data and documentation within ERP systems Support onboarding of new suppliers by verifying required documentation Monitor purchasing reports and identify issues related to cost, quantities, or delivery schedules Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain support Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong attention to detail and follow‑through Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production or operations environment Proficient with Excel and basic reporting functions Solid communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and cross‑functional teams Preferred Experience Automotive, logistics, or manufacturing background Experience with pricing reviews, order tracking, or supplier communication Location Onsite in
