NPI Buyer Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. United States, Michigan, Hazel Park 1430 East 10 Mile Road (Show on map) May 28, 2026
Description 1. Monitors the strategic launch list to ensure coverage for newly awarded programs. 2. Leads timely completion of tasks in the Supplier Readiness Review (SRR). 3. Coordinates with Program Managers to ensure suppliers are identified, updated drawings are communicated timely, RFQ's are managed, and supplier PPAP purchase orders are issued and completed on time. 4. Collaborate with sales / estimating teams as required. (supplier pricing, tooling costs, material specifications, MOQ's, etc.) 5. Coordinates with the Commodity Managers to ensure preferred suppliers are used and collaborates on presentations to Sourcing Board. 6. Coordinates with Supplier Development Engineers to ensure tech reviews are completed as required and selected suppliers are meeting expectations. 7. Coordinates with the Corporate Supply Chain Analyst to ensure suppliers are established in the applicable ERP system. 8. Presents SRR to plant procurement specialists and materials managers 30 days (as a target) prior to start of production. Owns or delegates open tasks through 30 days post start of production. 9. Contributes to the continuous improvement process by identifying areas of improvement. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.
