Job Requirements 5 to 15 years of purchasing experience in the printed circuit board industry required Printed circuit board industry experience required Experience purchasing PCB industry materials Experience negotiating with vendors Experience with long-term vendor relationships Experience with vendor development Experience leading or training a buyer Stable work history preferred Degree highly preferred Preferred Skills Experience working for smaller companies Experience managing or mentoring a junior buyer Experience developing supplier relationships for PCB materials Experience sourcing materials specific to printed circuit board manufacturing Experience improving vendor performance, pricing, lead times, or supply reliability Job Responsibilities Purchase materials for printed circuit board manufacturing Manage vendor relationships for PCB industry materials Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and supply agreements with vendors Develop long-term supplier partnerships Support vendor development initiatives Lead, train, and support a junior buyer Evaluate supplier performance and purchasing effectiveness Maintain purchasing coverage for PCB production needs Support cost, availability, and supply chain goals for PCB materials
