JOB SUMMARY

Purchases air conditioning, heating and plumbing equipment and parts, and issues spare parts for vehicle stock. Maintains all inventories including vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All purchasing - ordering parts and equipment. Order materials and supplies for building and warehouse equipment upkeep. Issue, enter and receive all related POs for necessary purchases. Maintain vendor relationships in regards to pricing, payment terms and availability of materials and equipment. Receive shipments, verify prices and provide paperwork to accounting. Monitoring, recording and reporting of all pricing changes. Comparison shopping for all materials. Inventory control - warehouse and vehicle. Prompt warranty parts return. Read shop manuals to ascertain type and specification of part. Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom periodically. Work with all other company departments. Review the installation survey sheets and have all equipment and materials necessary for the job ordered and picked up/delivered prior to date scheduled. Have the installation crews contact you upon arrival to the job site if any additional materials are required for job. Promptly order materials for installers and have parts runner pick them up from vendor and deliver to job site. Keep warehouse stock and technician's truck stock current. Complete all forms necessary for warranty returns and process promptly. Enter/update proper information in all fields in the computer. Any incorrect information must be corrected. Help improve your department with suggestions and recommendation. Keep work station neat, clean and organized. Performing any additional duties that may arise, relating to the service, installation and plumbing departments. Adhere to all of Flame Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical policies and procedures

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
