Located in the heart of Central Minnesota, Virnig Manufacturing has been designing and producing skid steer loader attachments since 1989. From engineering and cutting raw materials to machining, welding, and painting the finished product, all steps of the manufacturing process are done in-house. Today, the family-owned and operated business has grown into a premium attachment manufacturer supplying North America and beyond. By integrating the latest manufacturing technologies and using top-of-the-line materials, Virnig has distinguished themselves as a cut above the rest in the manufacturing industry. The Purchasing Planner is responsible for executing purchasing activities and supporting material planning to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and customer demand. This role manages purchase orders, monitors inventory levels, and works closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain material flow and prevent disruptions. - Accurately manages purchase orders, inventory data, and system transactions to support reliable execution Planning and Inventory Awareness
- Understands inventory levels, reorder points, and production demand to support material availability ERP/MRP System Utilization
- Maintains accurate system data to support purchasing and planning activities Problem Solving and Issue Resolution
- Identifies delays, shortages, and discrepancies and takes action to resolve issues Communication
- Clearly communicates with suppliers and internal teams regarding order status, availability, and delays Organization and Time Management
- Effectively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Works with production, purchasing, and other teams to ensure alignment and execution
Requirements:
