May 15, 2026 : #Tech-Pro-Admin-01 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Commodity Sourcing Specialist. This role involves analyzing daily requirements to determine material needs, executing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate delivery information. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. Responsibilities Analyze daily requirements to determine material needs and execute purchase orders to satisfy demand schedules. Maintain accurate delivery information on open purchase orders through supplier acknowledgments. Expedite material delivery when necessary and maintain status updates on shortages for production, sales, and service demand. Continually review stocking levels for each item to provide targeted service levels. Communicate with suppliers to best support the inventory plan and provide timely delivery for production needs. Regularly update backlog status reports and communicate with customer service on expected delivery for customer orders. Review and recommend disposition of all excess and obsolete inventory. Perform root cause analysis of service outliers to identify and implement improvements in the overall process. Qualifications Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams. Experience in inventory management and procurement processes.
