Lees Summit, MO Job Details Part-time | Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the school. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to Christian values and ethical stewardship. (approximately 15 hours per week- more in peak seasons).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and process all school purchasing requests Maintain accurate records of all orders, invoices, and payments Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed Work closely with administration, faculty, and support staff to meet purchasing needs Uphold the school's mission by conducting all transactions with integrity and accountability Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting related to purchasing
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing/accounting software Commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the school's mission and values
