full-time Chief of Staff KC is partnering with a family-owned manufacturer in the Kansas City area is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to support materials buying and vendor coordination. Great opportunity to grow into a larger purchasing role over time. What you'll do: Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure on-time receipt of materials Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability, and order status Monitor inventory levels and flag material shortages before they become problems Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor files Resolve discrepancies with pricing, quantities, or shipments Support cost comparisons and help identify savings opportunities Work cross-functionally with production, sales, and customer service teams to align on material needs Help build and maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners What we're looking for: 1-3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or materials coordination Comfortable working in Excel and basic purchasing/ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communicator, comfortable working directly with vendors No degree required
