Job Description:

Position Description (Lead IT Procurement Officer - Long Term Assignment): Description of the job functions the W2 Candidate will be expected to perform. Ensure contract management activities for all IT procurement are undertaken timely with internal/external teams. Provide oversight and project management Make acquisition of products/services/technical staffin accordance with state laws and Information Technology Services (ITS) procurement guidelines. Research, evaluate and acquire products based on needand solution desired. Create Request forProposals (RFPs) by following theprocurement guidelines for the RFP process. Create othersolicitations to acquire goods and services. Review/score proposals, bids and quote. Analyze information to determine the best products and services for the Agency's Needs. Partner withITS to obtainoversight and leadership on various IT projects. Communicate with the internal user community. Communicate withthe external vendorcommunity and potential vendors.

Fingerprint screen needed.

The process to obtain a fingerprint screen can take a month to get the results. Candidate has to wait until the fingerprint results are returned and then have them give their notice.

Required Skills/Experience:
