Job Description
Commercial Cabinetry Purchasing and Project Coordinator Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts to include, material take offs, job costing, purchasing and order processing, invoicing, and project coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and manage time, and a drive to move forward and take initiative. Duties Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Purchase material and produce Purchase Orders for all job specific and inventory items. Enter cabinets/products into Cabinet Vision and complete take offs per architectural plans for material purchasing Coordinate material purchasing with project schedule and production. Negotiate with vendors to secure necessary resources and services while maintaining budgetary constraints. Support product development by coordinating with project manager and managing timelines. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes for future reference. Collaborate with programming to create work orders for production. Coordinate and complete monthly invoicing as well as daily invoices that arise. Manage job costing, invoice recording, and reconciliation of invoices from material purchases and shop supplies. Manage all incoming shipments of materials. Qualifications Proven experience in project and office coordination roles. Familiarity with project management and office methodologies and tools. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of commercial cabinetry industry is a plus. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on collaboration. Ability to collaborate and work well with others. Knowledge of Blue beam (Revu) is a plus Fast Paced and Eager Learner Simple math skills is a must Construction or Architectural experience preferred If you are passionate about working to help move projects forward and possess the necessary skills to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.
