Job Description

At HiViz Lighting, Inc, our mission is to help first responders work more safely and effectively so they can save lives. Our finance team plays a critical role in making that possible by reporting expenses in real time to help manage cash flow and placing purchase orders to ensure product is available to meet customer demand. We are looking for an Accounting & Purchasing Specialist to join our finance team in Hendersonville, NC. This role owns the day to day accounting operations that keep HiViz organized, accurate, and audit ready by managing everything from customer invoicing to vendor management to purchasing activity. What You'll Do:
Manage full cycle AR, including invoicing, processing incoming payments, and follow ups on outstanding balances Review AP invoices, verify G/L coding, match to POs, and entering into ERP system Perform monthly credit card reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are properly coded and in compliance with company policy including matching to receipts Manage purchasing activities, including submitting purchase orders and coordinating with vendors Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing journal entries relating to AR, AP, and purchasing activities Serve as a point of contact for vendors on account set up and invoicing questions Support team members on G/L coding, purchasing procedures, and invoice questions
What You Bring:
Experience in managing AR and AP processes Experience supporting purchasing functions Excellent attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field Nice to
Have:
