On-site / High Point, NC Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Buyer / Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing activities for a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment. This position will work closely with project teams, field operations, vendors, and internal departments to ensure materials and services are purchased accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has strong purchasing or procurement experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining effective communication with vendors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Process material and service requests and create purchase orders Enter and reconcile goods receipts (GRNs) Review and resolve invoice workflow discrepancies Process and track credit memos Monitor open purchase orders and identify incomplete or outstanding orders Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, order status, and discrepancies Obtain and evaluate quotes for non-standard materials and services Assist with new vendor setup and maintain vendor information Provide purchasing and procurement system support to internal and field teams Support the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process and ensure purchasing records are accurate and up to date Qualifications Minimum 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience Construction or electrical industry experience preferred Experience using ERP or purchasing/procurement systems Experience with COINS is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Schedule $25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience Monday-Friday schedule Full-time opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional who enjoys working with vendors, project teams, and field operations while helping keep critical materials and services moving efficiently.
