Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is seeking an experienced Buyer (Tactical Purchasing) for a leading manufacturing company in Shelby, NC. This is a full-time, six-month assignment supporting the procurement team with day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier communication, purchase order management, and material flow to help keep production running efficiently.
Pay:
$24.00-$31.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Weekly Pay, Health Insurance, Holiday Pay, PTO, Referral Bonus What You'll Do Create and process purchase orders for production materials and supplies Follow up on past-due purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery Resolve invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable Coordinate supplier returns and rejected materials Maintain accurate purchasing records using the company's ERP system Communicate with suppliers to resolve order and delivery issues Support day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain required Experience expediting purchase orders and working directly with suppliers preferred Manufacturing purchasing experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience using an ERP system required Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to changing business priorities Ready to Apply?
