Job Description

Are you highly organized, relationship driven, and passionate about keeping projects moving? We are looking for a Project Procurement Specialist to join our team and play a key role in the success of our landscape construction projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials for current and upcoming landscape projects while building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and new vendor partners. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Sales Professionals, and suppliers to ensure materials are ordered accurately, delivered on time, and meet our quality standards. Your ability to anticipate project needs, negotiate effectively, and maintain exceptional attention to detail will help keep our projects on schedule and our clients happy.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Department Head with day-to-day project coordination and operational activities. Collaborate with Project Managers, material needs, equipment needs, and logistics. Collaborate with project teams to establish planned use of equipment, materials and supplies. Support sales and operations teams with administrative and project-related tasks such as cost book & estimation support. Collaborate with team leads to help ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with operational goals. Assists in the completion of job packets to include all required items as directed by the department head. Oversee and undertake procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites. Including pre-staging jobs and forecasting materials for bulk orders. Proactively manage the procurement process to maintain quality standards, align with industry trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Source & Coordinate with vendors, sub-contractors, supplies, trucking, logistics, and equipment repair teams to ensure resources are available when and where needed. Monitor inventory and material needs to minimize project delays. Complete EOM inventory for all NH Brands. Assist with clearing employee hours and payroll processing activities. Maintain accurate project documentation, procurement records, and scheduling information. Support reporting and tracking related to labor, materials and project progress. Ensure timely, complete, and accurate submission of purchase orders, receipts, and associated documents. Assist, upon request with staff schedule publishing and communication
Education & Skills:
Experience in landscape construction, procurement, project coordination, or related assistant/coordinator role. Project management and organizational skills. Excellent resource allocation and coordination abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and industry best practices. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and cost efficiency. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
