Purchasing Representative NewPower Worldwide - 1.9 Nashua, NH Job Details Full-time 5 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Financial forecasting Cash flow analysis Research ROI Cost accounting Payback period analysis Full Job Description The Purchasing Representative is a key member of the NewPower Worldwide procurement team, responsible for driving revenue growth through both new and existing vendor relationships. Your primary goal is to expand our vendor base and support long-term business growth. This involves researching targeted and strategic vendors, developing relationships with potential new vendors, and managing revenue opportunities with established vendors.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor relevant markets and assess how changes may impact supply and pricing conditions.
  • Ensure alignment of the team's work with the company's mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies.
  • Manage all activities related to building relationships with suppliers.
  • Take ownership of the entire procurement process, from sourcing vendors to managing purchase orders and handling post-payment closure activities.
  • Function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Actively participate in department and operational meetings, coordinate vendor-related issues, and support reporting activities to demonstrate compliance.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and the finished goods industry.
  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • A strong drive, ambition, and motivation to succeed.
  • Outstanding work ethic, with a willingness to work hard and do what is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with unquestionable integrity and character.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
