A Procurement Analyst is responsible for the analysis of purchasing within an organization, ensuring that the purchasing strategy is kept to and that inventory levels are maintained.
Participating in cross functional calls with both internal and external stakeholders Reviewing quotes and comparing quoted price vs. standard costs Negotiating quotes with suppliers Providing periodic updates to leadership team Analyzing risks from a sourcing perspective Will be working extensively with suppliers as well as various internal stakeholders Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of custom engineered products. Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends and supplier technology road maps. Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds. Lead project development and project plans that define scope, timeline, budget, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations This is a highly specialized individual contributor role that requires deep expertise from a professional / technical thought leader in their respective field or discipline.
Qualifications:
