Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Accounting & Procurement Specialist to support both financial and operational functions within our construction team. This role is responsible for managing vendor invoices, procurement processes, project cost tracking, and financial reporting, while working closely with Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate material planning and delivery. Duties Process vendor invoices and reconcile them against purchase orders Manage supplier relationships and oversee the procurement process from sourcing through delivery Develop, produce, and maintain material forecasts for ongoing and upcoming projects Collaborate with Project Managers to schedule material needs and coordinate deliveries Manage and process sales tax payments in compliance with applicable regulations Prepare and manage monthly customer and subcontractor AIA billing reports Generate and issue sales invoices Oversee accounts receivable, including tracking and collections Assist with month-end close, audits, and preparation of financial reports
Qualifications:
Prior experience in construction accounting, procurement, or a related role Strong understanding of AIA billing processes and construction project workflows Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
