Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Sourcing Specialist to identify, evaluate, and secure products and supplier partnerships that support our quality, pricing, and inventory objectives. This role plays a key part in helping our organization deliver exceptional value to our customers through strategic sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and reliable product availability. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled negotiator, and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Research and identify new products, suppliers, and sourcing opportunities Obtain and compare quotations, samples, and product specifications Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements with suppliers Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and supply chain developments Collaborate with leadership and internal teams on purchasing decisions Ensure products meet company quality, cost, and service standards Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and product records Support inventory planning and supply continuity initiatives Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service levels, and supplier performance Requirements Experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management preferred Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational and analytical abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and supplier relationships simultaneously Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail Ability to work independently while contributing to team success What It Takes to Thrive at Ford Medical Build meaningful relationships based on trust, respect, and transparency Take ownership, remain accountable, and consistently deliver on commitments Communicate clearly, honestly, and with professionalism Embrace change, stay adaptable, and continuously seek ways to improve Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to find solutions Support, encourage, and contribute to the growth of those around them Demonstrate humility, confidence, and a strong work ethic Strive for excellence while maintaining a collaborative and enjoyable workplace culture Help create exceptional experiences for customers, suppliers, and fellow team members About Ford Medical We're breaking barriers to premium medical products, making high-quality acute and non-acute supplies accessible to providers across the U.S.
