Job Description
Job Overview Are you looking for a position in manufacturing with an established company? Are you interested in great benefits and a family culture? Winzeler Manufacturing Co. is a family-owned precision metal stamping and manufacturing company that has called Montpelier, Ohio home for over 100 years. We are currently looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This person would be responsible for: Responsibilities Developing relationships with, selecting, and evaluating vendors. Purchasing raw materials, parts, outside services, and MRO items. Ensuring raw materials and purchased parts match order and pricing specifications and resolving any related issues. Monitoring delivery dates and expedites deliveries as needed. Processing vendor returns and credits. Creating, maintaining, and distributing reports and lists for purchasing related information and data. Working with HR to plan and coordinate employee meals and engagement events. Requirements Minimum four-year degree in business or equivalent work experience. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication. Strong problem solving and negotiation skills. Understanding of PPAP process. Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office, AS400, and MRP preferred. Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management certification preferred. Pay is commensurate with experience and skillset.
