Purchasing Coordinator MonteVista Homes - 2.5 Bend, OR Job Details $55,000 a year 22 hours ago Qualifications Construction procurement Residential construction Employee relationship building Purchase order management Mid-level Construction industry experience Construction document control Data verification Public permit project coordination Commercial building projects Construction change orders Communication skills Negotiation File organization Quality data entry Office record organization Full Job Description The Purchasing Coordinator is an integral member of the purchasing department to support the day-to-day functions of the Purchasing Department and Field Team to ensure on-time builds. They are responsible for ensuring that each job start is handed off from the back office to the field with complete accuracy.
Compensation:
$55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
I am responsible for assembling, coordinating, and managing all needed documents, such as site plans, plans, color selections, and files from internal and external assets, to ensure on-time permit submission and permit issuance. I am willing to hold people accountable to their deadlines, requiring excellence of myself, leading by example, and requiring excellence from others. I am responsible for entering the details of the job into our software system promptly, such as addresses, permit numbers, temp power numbers, etc. I will generate and distribute POs in accordance with build schedules, ensuring they match the approved job budget provided by the Lead Coordinator. I will review and update PO's as needed, related to Change Orders, Vendor Changes, or Price Changes. I will facilitate the collection of all onboarding documents (COIs, MSAs) and ensure they are uploaded to the system for the Lead Purchasing Coordinator's final verification. I will enter the permit and start in Mark Systems with 100% accuracy. I will be Fanatic About Response Time regarding Field requests. I will own the digital filing system for all Purchasing documents.
Qualifications:
Two years of experience in purchasing, preferably in production residential housing and/or commercial construction. Understand pricing and the impact on capital. Possess excellent relationship and communication skills. Will present a positive image for the company, be a win-win thinker, and a good negotiator. Will be creative and innovative, and respectful of co-workers, sub-contractors, and suppliers. About Company Why MonteVista?
