Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join a leading medical device manufacturing organization in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania . The Senior Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in supporting supply chain operations by ensuring materials are procured efficiently and delivered on time to support production and sales demand in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Responsibilities of the
Senior Procurement Specialist:
- Manage purchase orders from creation through completion, ensuring materials and services meet production and sales demands
- Partner with suppliers to maintain delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and proactively mitigate supply chain risks
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to support On-Time-In-Full delivery performance across product lines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Perform cost and volume analysis to support strategic sourcing decisions and inventory optimization Qualifications of the
Senior Procurement Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (required)
- 5+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables Compensation for the Senior Procurement Specialist includes:
- Salary range: $75,000-$85,000 (based on experience)
