full-time A well-established organization within the healthcare and medical products industry is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Contracts Specialist to support both procurement and contract administration functions. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with data, pricing, supplier relationships, contracts, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing purchase orders, contract pricing, supplier communications, product information, reporting, and administrative support for purchasing and contracts operations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Quality, and Accounting while contributing to business-critical initiatives. Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Supplier Support Create and process purchase orders within the ERP system while ensuring pricing, quantities, supplier requirements, and ordering parameters are accurate. Review supplier order confirmations and address discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or delivery schedules. Monitor supplier lead times and estimated delivery dates and provide updates to internal teams. Prepare and manage supplier RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and product inquiries. Maintain supplier documentation, certifications, and regulatory records. Support supplier issue resolution and coordinate with internal departments as needed. Assist with pricing updates, reporting, and general purchasing activities. Contracts & Pricing Administration Provide administrative support for contract management activities, including price activations, renewals, product additions, and eligibility requests. Maintain contract pricing, SKU information, and customer contract data within the ERP system. Generate and maintain contract and pricing reports. Conduct research related to group purchasing organizations (GPOs), healthcare facilities, and contract opportunities. Support contract documentation and special projects as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Purchasing, Contracts, Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Quality, and Accounting teams to support operational needs. Maintain product, pricing, and lead-time information. Communicate supplier, purchasing, and contract-related updates across the organization. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, contract administration, customer service, sales support, or a related business function. Experience working within an ERP system required; NetSuite experience is highly desirable. Experience supporting healthcare, medical device, healthcare distribution, or GPO environments is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Comfortable interacting with domestic and international suppliers. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
