Job Summary

Senior Procurement Engineer - BAE Systems (Warton)

Warton 10-Month Contract 33/hr (Umbrella) 3 Days Onsite

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to support BAE Systems' Air sector at Warton, playing a key role in managing and developing the Supply Chain Capability Portal to ensure alignment with current and future programme requirements.

In this role, you will drive market analysis, supplier engagement, and category strategy support, ensuring accurate supplier capability data and contributing to optimal sourcing decisions across complex aerospace programmes. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve portal engagement, support procurement strategies, and deliver actionable insights that enhance supply chain performance.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience within procurement/supply chain (ideally defence, aerospace, or automotive)

Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier management skills

Experience supporting category management and sourcing strategies

Good Excel skills (Tableau desirable)

CIPS (or working towards) preferred
