Lang Pharma Nutrition is a high quality, global private label retail product development company which provides a flexible manufacturing offering and solutions for retail partners around the world. We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Buyer to procure assigned items and ensure material availability to support production plans. The Buyer maintains a high in-stock level while managing inventory, ensuring lowest cost buying, and advancing supplier relationships. This position is hybrid requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office presence a minimum of 2 days a week.

JOB FUNCTION AND DUTIES

Utilize finished goods forecasting and other data to effectively plan to materials supply Procure materials and follow on their timely shipment to the appropriate manufacturing or packing facility Build positive and productive supplier relationships Negotiate with suppliers to optimize flow of goods and costs Monitor, communicate, and resolve supply issues Maintain targeted inventory levels and manage aged or distressed inventory Employ system tools to analyze item and category performance to well react to trends Manage ERP system maintenance on assigned items Ensure cost accuracy on purchase orders and resolve invoice discrepancies Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal partners to execute to customer, department, and company goals Work cross-functionally within the organization to successfully launch new items. Engage in team and project meetings Special projects as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree 5+ years of relevant experience

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
