NOTICE:

SpecialtyRx is seeking Corporate Supplies Purchaser for our Ridgefield Park, NJ location. The Corporate Supplies Purchaser is responsible for procuring supplies and materials across multiple locations. This role ensures a cost-effective, reliable, and efficient supply chain while maintaining accurate inventory levels and building strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

Source and purchase supplies and materials for multiple locations. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimal waste. Forecast demand using historical data, trends, and site-specific needs. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues quickly. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and cost. Work with site managers to assess needs and prioritize orders. Ensure consistency and efficiency in purchasing processes across all locations. Implement and maintain standardized ordering and inventory procedures. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality Manage budgets for supply purchasing and report variances to leadership.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; or a related field preferred. Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, a plus. Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred. 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience. Experience in multi-location operations is a plus Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong analytical skills for forecasting and cost analysis. Clear communication skills for working with internal teams and vendors. Hybrid role with office-based work and occasional travel between locations. May require availability to handle urgent supply needs when necessary. Ability to work flexible schedules as business needs require.
