Schedule:
Flexible / Remote - Occasional onsite meetings (1-2x per month onsite)
Pay Rate:
$40hr ( Medical benefits & Weekly pay)
Duration:

About the Role Our client is a candidate to support Technical Operations team with procurement coordination, purchase order creation, and contract processing activities. This role is heavily focused on administrative procurement support, ensuring purchase orders and contracts are accurately processed within internal systems while maintaining strong communication across internal stakeholders and external vendors. This is a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment where flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail are critical for success. The ideal candidate is someone eager to learn, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization. This role is primarily remote; however, candidates should be able to attend occasional onsite meetings in the San Diego area approximately 1-2 times per month.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications Education Flexibility:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may also be considered. 1-5+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, order management, or related operational experience
Procurement & Purchasing Support:
Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor coordination, order management, or related operational functions Must be within 2-3 hour commute to San Diego, CA Experience creating purchase orders, processing requisitions, tracking approvals, and maintaining procurement documentation.
PO & Contract Processing:
Ability to support day-to-day procurement administration including creating POs, submitting contracts into internal systems, tracking approvals, and ensuring documentation accuracy throughout the procurement process.
Bonus:
ERP /
Procurement Systems Experience:
Experience working within ERP, procurement, or contract management systems for data entry, PO creation, tracking requests, and maintaining accurate records.
Bonus:
Experience with Coupa and/or Agiloft is a plus but not required ; training can be provided.
Vendor & Internal Coordination:
Comfortable communicating with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to support procurement activities, follow up on requests, resolve issues, and ensure timely processing of goods/services. Attention to

Strong detail orientation with the ability to accurately manage contracts, purchase orders, vendor information, and procurement records in a fast-paced environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively across multiple teams in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization where priorities may shift and team members support a variety of business needs. Adaptability & Willingness to
Learn:
Comfortable in an evolving environment where responsibilities may change and team members are expected to step in and help wherever needed. Strong willingness to learn new systems and processes is essential.

CRO Industry Experience Preferred:
Prior experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or CRO environments is highly preferred but not required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
Independent & Remote Work Capability:
Ability to work independently in a mostly remote environment while remaining responsive, organized, and collaborative with the broader team.
