Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking self-starting individuals with a strong background in procurement services, contract development, and purchasing to apply for the Procurement Services Coordinator position. The Procurement Services Coordinator plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in the procurement of services, supplies, equipment, and operating systems; assists in the development and implementation of purchasing and contract policies and procedures. Required Education and Experience Education:
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter verifiable college coursework units in business administration, contract administration, contract law, public finance, or other field closely related to the job requirements of the classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience:
Three years of experience in contract development, contract administration, and purchasing, for a wide variety of services and/or materials in a public agency, including one year of lead or supervisory experience.
Additional Requirements:
A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required. Hybrid remote schedules may be available.
