Duties:

Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for various products and services within the fuel industry Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, delivery, and quality agreements. Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, including regular communication and issue resolution. Monitor and analyze supplier performance to identify areas for improvement and initiate proactive conversations Source suppliers that fit the unique needs and requests customers as set out by the Sales team If requested needs cannot be fulfilled with any prospective supplier, implement problem-solving skills in order to find a solution with a supplier that most closely meets the requests of the customer. Ensure all items required for Sourcing in a single day have had actions applied to them by the end of the day Understand the company's workflow and the proprietary systems within it Update supplier information in the systems daily Keep a detailed interaction log within our workflow as it pertains to individual deals Act with integrity and create an exceptional environment for both suppliers and colleagues Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to sourcing within the fuel industry Work both independently and collaboratively - utilizing all the resources that are available to you

Qualifications:

Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for problem-solving. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Please note that this position will require procurement and negotiation tactics to be implemented via phone and email. Comfortability with both these communication methods is a MUST.
