We are seeking a proactive Supplier Recovery & NPI Procurement Specialist to drive recovery efforts for past-due and at-risk materials while supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) procurement and fulfillment activities. This role serves as the primary onsite liaison between suppliers and the customer program team, ensuring alignment on delivery commitments, issue resolution, and long-term supply continuity. The ideal candidate will bring experience in aerospace manufacturing environments, where precision, supplier accountability, and schedule adherence are critical to program success. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recovery plans for past-due and critical components to meet customer delivery commitments
Build and maintain Inchstone charts to track progress on high-priority items and communicate status to stakeholders
Lead and participate in daily/weekly cross-functional meetings to review risks, constraints, and recovery status
Partner directly with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and identify root causes of delays
Validate vendor production schedules and capacity to ensure realistic commitments
Identify and implement preventative actions to reduce future supply chain disruptions
Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier-related issues with the customer program team
Qualifications:
Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Supplier Development, and Supplier Recovery
Working knowledge of Line of Balance (LOB) and production capacity analysis
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
Strong problem-solving and communication skills with supplier-facing experience
US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work. Preferred Qualifications & Skills
BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business support disciplines
Background in Aerospace Manufacturing
