Grapes & Grains, Inc. The right candidate for this position will harbor a deep personal interest in wine, as well as spirits and beer. This individual must be able to execute and demonstrate many independent skills, strong communication, self organization, multi task on different levels, in addition to having a strong work ethic - staying beyond to help the team or a great customer. We are looking for an honest individual who is fun and energetic to join our highly regarded team. This is a wonderful position for a creative and wine savvy individual who can bring new ideas and a solid action plan to our team.
Required Core Competencies:
1. You have relevant experience, and thrive in a customer service environment where establishing rapport and developing relationships are the goals. 2. Career experience demonstrating an ability to lead and direct others towards common goals and standards. 3. Demonstrate ability to operate management system and rewards programs. 4. Proven ability for inventory maintenance and management. 5. Enjoy working in a small business environment and have the ability to be a supporting and contributing individual in a goal driven team. 6. Strong communicator who has demonstrated a high level of proficiency with the written and spoken word. 7. Strategic thinker, who is also creative, organized and solution oriented. 8. Be able to maintain the appearance of the bottle shop which will also include merchandising and organizing displays. 9.
Provide special services such as:
assembling special orders for customers and conducting tasting events or educational seminars. 10. Implement and analyze direct marketing campaigns and omnichannel that increase direct sales. 11. Demonstrate responsible Alcohol handling. 12. Vendor Relations. Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, importers, and local producers to secure allocations and favorable pricing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be 21 years old and be able to work flexible hours. Must have knowledge of, and interest in, fine wine and continue desire to learn and educate. Enjoy interacting with consumers and taking about wine, beer and small batch spirits. Able to make food to wine pairing recommendations. Have a strong sense of urgency and follow through with projects and customer support. Be computer and social media literate. Ability to lift in excess of 30lbs. Seek opportunities for the Bottle shop to promote and market the brand. Adhere to company dress code and maintain professional appearance at all times. Must be self motivated. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be able to multi task. Maintain standards set forth by company.
