Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Procurement Agent to join the Dock to Delivery Team located in North Charleston, SC on 1st shift . Do you like dynamic and high visibility work? Do you thrive on variable, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous projects and daily work? Do you want to have significant influence and impact on one of the most interesting parts of Boeing Commercial Airplanes? If so, we want you to join our Seats Dock to Delivery Team.
Position Responsibilities:
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years' of experience in Supply Chain Management, and/or Procurement practices and processes 3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives 3+ years' experience functioning in a cross-functional environment Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher preferred Experience with the Production Readiness Assessment (PRA) process Experience in contract negotiations and/or pricing Experience applying critical thinking to understand inter-relationships of business decisions Experience with Project Management Experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
