With the continued expansion of Mega Metal Inc. in the United States , we are growing our team and seeking a Buyer to support our manufacturing operations in Ridgeway, South Carolina . This role goes beyond issuing purchase orders. As a Buyer at Mega Metal Inc., you will directly support production continuity, supplier performance, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced, globally respected manufacturing organization. As a Buyer, you will support purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and services essential to manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Source and evaluate suppliers for routine materials and services under established guidelines Conduct basic market research to compare pricing, lead times, and supplier performance Issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and gather pricing, lead time, and availability information Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system (SAP preferred) Monitor open orders, track supplier delivery performance, and follow up on overdue items Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials meet required specifications and delivery timelines Support inventory replenishment and material planning efforts Maintain accurate purchasing documentation including order confirmations, delivery notes, and supplier correspondence Assist in resolving material-related issues such as late deliveries, incorrect shipments, and return-to-vendor (RTV) processes Support reporting, KPIs, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking ForRequired Experience & Skills 2-4 years of purchasing, procurement, or related supply chain experience Experience working with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and managing delivery follow-ups Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Solid organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of purchasing processes and supply chain fundamentals ERP experience (SAP or comparable manufacturing ERP systems preferred) Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Education Bachelor's degree preferred (business, supply chain, finance, or related field) Equivalent relevant experience will be considered

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
