Redstone Foods, Inc. is the largest wholesale distributor of bulk, novelty, and old-fashioned candy and craft soda in the Southwest. Our 160,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned warehouse houses over 6,000 varieties of candy and soda that are distributed to gourmet food stores, candy stores, florists, gift shops, and many other retail outlets throughout the United States, as well as internationally. About the Position The Purchasing Coordinator supports both the Purchasing and Sales teams through product setup, reporting, presentations, pricing updates, and vendor/customer communication. This is a detail-oriented operational support role ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and working with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare weekly sales presentations, reports, and spreadsheets using Excel and PowerPoint. Create and maintain new product records in internal business software, including pricing and specifications. Analyze and reconcile sales and purchasing data in Excel using tools such as formulas, filters, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables. Process pricing updates and distribute change notifications to customers and internal teams via email. Maintain and regularly update customer order forms, approved product documentation, price lists, and related sales support materials. Build positive vendor relationships and assist with resolving product or pricing issues. Support Purchasing and Sales with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. Qualifications High school diploma required; some college preferred 2-4 years of purchasing support, distribution, customer service, or administrative office experience Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including: VLOOKUP, PivotTables, sorting/filtering, and basic formulas such as SUM and IF Experience working with software systems and maintaining accurate product data Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable attendance and strong written/verbal communication skills Comfortable managing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency Ability to work on-site in Carrollton, TX, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional overtime Ideal Candidate Organized and dependable Comfortable handling detailed work Communicates professionally with vendors and customers Learns systems quickly Follows through consistently Compensation and Benefits We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package which includes: $22-26 per hour based on experience 401(k) Savings Plan with dollar for dollar matching up to 5% of employee's salary Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Flexible Benefit Spending Account Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability and Life Insurance coverage Paid holidays and vacation
