This role is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials to support production needs while maintaining strong supplier relationships and cost-effective purchasing practices. Key Responsibilities Purchase raw materials based on production schedules and inventory requirements. Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with new and existing suppliers. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency. Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery. Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability. Analyze market trends and material costs to identify purchasing opportunities. Create and manage purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records. Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or supply shortages. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials management. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
