Job Purpose Execute purchasing transactions and provide planning support to ensure compliant procurement, material availability, and operational continuity.
Essential Responsibilities Purchasing Execution:
Create and manage POs in SAP in compliance with pricing,approvals, and tax requirements
Supplier Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers on orders, deliveries, and issue resolution
Order & Delivery Management:
Track orders, resolve discrepancies, and escalate supply risks
Procurement Support:
Assist RFQs, supplier coordination, and performance tracking
Master Data Management:
Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing data in
SAP Inventory Support:
Support cycle counts, reconciliations, and documentation (COAs, shipping)
Governance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ISO requirements; support audits
Planning Backup:
Support MRP, inventory monitoring, expediting, and material availability during coverage needs Education & Qualification Education Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field required Bachelor's degree preferred Experience Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience supporting both purchasing and planning functions strongly preferred Experience working in SAP or equivalent ERP systems required Systems & Technical Skills Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP system) for purchasing and inventory transactions Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, basic data analysis) Familiarity with MRP concepts and inventory management principles preferred Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in transactional and compliance-driven work Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams and external suppliers Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify and escalate supply risks Understanding of procurement policies, controls, and audit requirements Preferred Qualification Experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment Exposure to ISO standards or regulated procurement environments Basic understanding of supply chain planning processes (MRP, demand/supply balance) What we offer We aim to lead the way.
