Type:
full-time Buyer - Temporary Assignment (Possible Perm Conversion) A growing manufacturing organization in the area is seeking a Buyer to join their materials/purchasing team on a temporary basis, with strong potential to convert to a permanent role in 2027 based on performance and business need. This is an immediate need - the ideal candidate can step in with minimal ramp-up and start contributing right away.
What You'll Do:
Manage purchase orders and supplier communications to ensure on-time material delivery Support logistics coordination to keep production schedules on track Analyze supplier performance, pricing, and delivery timelines Partner cross-functionally with production, planning, and inventory teams to resolve supply issues Help stabilize purchasing operations during a period of increased demand on the team
What You Bring:
Proven experience in purchasing/procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment Logistics experience - comfortable managing delivery timelines, expediting, and supplier coordination Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with limited onboarding time Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred
Assignment Details:
