iSoftStone, Inc. in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Team! This position requires U.S. citizenship due to regulatory and/or contractual requirements. This is a contract to hire position. We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is highly tactical and requires a championing of ideas and campaign execution. In this role, candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day and smooth operation of various projects.Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute initiatives to support vendor processes on a daily basis for the goal of 100% on-time delivery.
- Send monthly follow-up list to vendors to request updated and review follow-up lists.
- Expedite shortage parts, past-due items, and follow-up status.
- Data Analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
- Manage PO and acknowledgement process.
- Expedite shortage parts, past due items, and urgent parts requests.
- Support the procurement operation for buyers in Japan.
- This position will require up to 80% travel, throughout US, Canada and Mexico.
Qualifications:
- One to two years' experience in supply chain.
- Ability to work onsite in the Kirkland, WA, office when not travelling.
- Comfortable working within Excel Workbooks.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions.
- Organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Comfortable with social media platforms (for business: , Twitter.)
- Candidates must be fluent in English and Japanese.
