Senior Sourcing Specialist About the Role At HART Health, purchasing is much more than issuing purchase orders. You'll work directly with company leadership to help shape sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, identify new product opportunities, and improve operational performance across our organization. This is a highly visible position where initiative, accountability, and results are recognized and rewarded. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for domestic and international suppliers. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new manufacturers and supplier partners. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, freight agreements, and supplier contracts to improve overall value. Drive continuous cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards. Monitor inventory levels and purchasing activity to maintain optimal stock levels while maximizing inventory turns. Analyze purchasing, inventory, freight, and market data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities. Develop supplier scorecards and monitor supplier performance, quality, lead times, and service levels. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service to support company initiatives. Assist with forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization. Coordinate new product introductions, private label development, packaging, and artwork projects. Evaluate international sourcing opportunities and monitor global supply chain risks. Ensure reports, analyses, and recommendations are accurate, thoroughly validated, and actionable before presentation to leadership. Manage projects independently while consistently meeting commitments and deadlines. What We're Looking For A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability. Someone who consistently meets deadlines and follows through on commitments. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to review data critically, verify accuracy, and identify inconsistencies before reporting results. Strong business judgment with the ability to convert data into actionable recommendations. Resourceful, opportunity-focused mindset that actively seeks ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting findings and recommendations to management. High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Preferred Qualifications 3+ Years experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field. Strong proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Analytics, or a related field. Experience with supplier negotiations, sourcing, and cost analysis. Demonstrated success in driving measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, or supplier performance.
