We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support purchasing, supplier management, and sourcing initiatives for a leading industrial manufacturing organization. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical components procurement. Job Duties Source materials, components, and equipment while securing competitive pricing and lead times. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, product specifications, quality information, and delivery schedules. Research and identify alternate products when preferred materials or components are unavailable. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to resolve technical and quality issues. Review product specifications, technical documentation, and blueprints to support purchasing decisions. Analyze supplier performance, pricing, and procurement data using advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Support vendor relationships and ensure purchasing requirements are met on time and within budget. Qualifications Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or materials management. Strong understanding of electrical/electronic components and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Experience working with suppliers, vendor management, and procurement processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
