Job Description

Pay:
starting $70,000.00 per year Job description: We are seeking a Senior Buyer to lead our buying efforts for Star Furniture & Mattress. You would be working with our existing vendor network of over 50 of today's best brands as well as finding the next strong partner of tomorrow.
Location:
Morgantown/Clarksburg, WV area. This is not a remote position.
Salary:
$70,000 + (based on experience).
Benefits:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday and as needed for travel, events, and corporate meeting.
Travel Flexibility:
Ability to travel to furniture markets in Las Vegas, NV and High Point, NC. Ability to travel to showrooms in WV and surrounding states on occasion.
Qualifications Experience:
• 5+ years of experience of purchasing in the Home Furnishings Industry •
Lead Buyer:
Must be proficient analyzing sales data and market trends to drive merchandising strategies. • Visual Merchandising, preferably within the home furnishings industry. Creative vision with a keen eye for design and deep understanding of current trends and visual merchandising. Ability to manage multiple projects while executing quickly and efficiently. Implement best practices that elevate brand presentation and customer engagement. •
Technical Skills:
Fluent in Microsoft products such as the 365 suite.
Required:
