Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver time-sensitive shipments Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries and pickups Manage the loading process, including verifying shipment contents and documentation accuracy Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving freight, organizing storage areas, and preparing shipments for delivery Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or similar roles involving route driving and heavy lifting Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively Warehouse experience including loading/unloading cargo and operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving freight, and vehicle operation Knowledge of route planning, load management, and time management strategies to meet delivery deadlines This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and are committed to providing reliable service.
