Position Summary The Freight & Parcel Operations Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role plays a critical part in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring shipments are processed correctly and orders go out on time. Key Responsibilities Inspect, verify, unload, and store incoming shipments; report damaged or missing items Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments (LTL, freight, UPS, FedEx) Complete and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, labels) Coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Build crates and prepare materials for secure shipment Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material-handling equipment (as certified) Work closely with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve issues quickly Follow all company safety procedures and standards Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in shipping & receiving with LTL freight and shipping with UPS and FedEx Forklift experience or certification preferred Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools for crate building Proficiency in computer skills (inventory systems, shipping software) Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout the shift Team player with strong communication skills Skills & Competencies Strong accuracy and attention to detail Dependable and self-motivated Organized with good time management Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools with measuring devices Problem-solving skills to handle shipment or inventory issues Safety-focused mindset Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily works in a warehouse/shop environment May be exposed to temperature extremes in non-climate-controlled areas Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the full shift

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range :
